Stockings from Tajikistan
These beautiful stockings are handmade out of Yak and sheep wool by womenin the Pamiri mountains of Tajikistan, which used to be part of the Soviet Union.
They also live in a remote mountain region, and have asked us to find a market here in the States for their beautiful products. We have foundthat they fit like a glove, molding to your feet the more you wear them.
They can be worn in boots or as slippers around the house. Some people even use them as Christmas stockings.
Even dogs like 'em!
